| Our Network's Scholarship Program Provides Financial Assistance to Families for Conferences and Trainings Johnny Bellopede is the son of one of our former executive board members. He died at the age of nine on August 12, 2006. Johnny attended Devereux CARES. He loved reading, math, computer and Leapster. Thanks to our successful Autism Awareness Kickoff fund raisers we are now able to offer scholarships . These scholarships are available to Delaware County parents who wish to attend trainings or conferences. Scholarships are offered only to parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders who reside in Delaware County. The amount of the scholarship will not exceed ½ of the total conference fee or $200.00 . Our budget for scholarships is limited; therefore, we can not guarantee that everyone who is eligible for a scholarship will receive one. Every effort will be made to ensure that our funds are distributed equitably. |
